Perchè restare in Afganistan?

Un altro soldato italiano, Tiziano Chierotti, è morto in Afganistan, altri 3 sono feriti. Un pattugliamento a soli 20 km dalla base Lavaredo, nell’abitato del villaggio di Siav, dove li attendeva un’imboscata.

Diversi anni fa, scrivevo controcorrente come fosse corretto denominare il ‘nemico’ come insorgenti o insorti, visto che le Nazioni Unite così li chiamava, limitando questa definizione al Wiziristan, dove vivono gruppi tribali non ostili, originariamente, alle ‘forze di pace’.

Oggi, credo che sia importante iniziare a chiarire chi siano gli insorgenti, ovvero le tribù che non si riconoscono col governo di Kabul, chi i talebani ‘fuori zona’ come a Siav, che è al di fuori della zona di infiltrazione storica dal Pakistan dei pastun/ talebani e chi i ‘narcos’ che stanno di casa a Siav, che come tante altre località di quella provincia è tra le tappe dei corrieri che dalle province confinati con l’Iran vanno e vengono con il Pakistan.

Ragioni troppo astratte per accettare la morte di uno dei nostri ragazzi, mentre troppi altri, a casa nostra, soccombono all’eroina?
