Siamo tutti Pussy Riot

Secondo la corte presieduta da Marina Syrova, la ‘colpa’ è di aver cantato una canzone «blasfema, insultante» nella cattedrale moscovita del Cristo Salvatore, commettendo una «grave violazione dell’ordine pubblico, disturbando la quiete dei cittadini e insultando profondamente le convinzioni del fedeli ortodossi».

Il tutto perchè, 21 febbraio scorso, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 22 anni, Ekaterina Samutsevich, 30 anni, e Maria Alekhina, 24 anni hanno cantato una ‘preghiera punk’ nella chiedendo alla Madonna di «cacciare Putin» dal potere.  Secondo i giudici il testo «esprimeva chiaramente l’odio basato su affiliazione religiosa» e l’obiettivo era quello di raggiungere «il circolo più vasto possibile di fedeli dando pubblicità» al loro gesto.

L’accusa ha chiesto tre anni di reclusione.

Escape du Commandant, que dit la loi italienne?

Le “Code de la navigation» italienne (loi 24 Novembre 1981, n ° 689) prévoit à l’article. 1097, le crime de “Escape/abandon d’un navire en danger par le commandant.”

L’article pertinent est ainsi libellé: «Un commandant qui, en cas d’abandon d’un navire en danger n’a pas la terre comme la dernière, il sera puni d’un emprisonnement maximal de deux ans. Si du fait d’un incendie vient – comme le naufrage ou la submersion du navire – la peine est de deux à huit ans. Si le navire n’est pour les passagers, la peine est de trois à douze ans».

Ainsi, la loi italienne prévoit, dans le cas d’un navire de croisière a coulé, d’une peine de trois à douze ans, réductible à huit, avec probation pour un tiers de la peine.
Un maximum de huit ans d’incarcération, tout au moins ceux-là? No.

Quand et comment sera faite phrase finale – 3 ans, 5 ans, 10 ans – pénalité sera déduite des années en «résidence surveillée», comme en fait, dans sa luxueuse villa à Sorrente …

En bref, il pourrait facilement arriver que le commandant ne sera pas Schettino passer une journée en prison pour «que» l’abandon du navire que nous avons tous écouté sur les enregistrements téléphoniques publiées sur tous les médias. Juste ça.

Pourtant, Schettino a été arrêté jours conformément à l’art. 382 alinéa 1 du Code de procédure pénale, comme les journaux proposés sur fait qu’il a été attrapé «parce qu’il tentait de s’échapper».

Pourquoi, au moins pour l’abandon du navire, ce n’était pas pour un procès sommaire, après l’arrestation que, habituellement, est prévu pour l’état de flagrant délit et / ou de vol, si les preuves sont toutes dans ces dialogues de commandant Schettino avec le capitaine Di Falco?

Pourquoi, en Italie, il ya des lois qui permettent cela?

A bad route for Costa Concordia

Costa Concordia, 114,500 tons and a draft of 8.5 meters, 1,500 cabins for 3,780 passengers, was heading from Civitavecchia to Savona at the cruising speed of 15.7 knots, when at first it ripped the keel against a rock, then toppled, while the crew tried to get closer to the coast of the “Island of Giglio.

Crew did his part, allowing the rescue of nearly all the passengers, avoiding that tehy will be trapped, as happened to some, into a sort of toppled tower.
Given the speed with which the incident has become critical, given that the ship toppled before they began the evacuation itself, it could have been much worse if the staff was unprepared and if they thought only themselves.
As the “hero of the day”, Chief Purser Marrico Giampetroni, trapped for 30 hours at the third level of the ship, after he helped many people get to safety before him.

Why has this disaster happened, how is possible for a giant of the sea as it was the Costa Concordia, though, of course, managed within the limits of safety and common sense?

Simple. The ship was not on the route that would have to passing off the Island of Giglio. Costa Concordia was in the narrow strait which separates the mainland coast.

The official Pilot’s Book indicates two routes to go from Civitavecchia to Savona or vice versa. The first, which goes off to the north of Sardinia, and a second, which leaves the island of Giglio on its own right, while sailing towards Liguria.

Yet, for some time, big cruise ships exceeded the Island of Giglio by the route which usually make the ferry, which is not prohibited and that is certainly most striking and perhaps slightly cheaper.

Unfortunately, it involves having to pass over a shallow with a “light” of a mile between reefs.
A wide margin for the enormous Costa Cruise, if something does not go wrong …

As seen on the nautical map, Costa Concordia was about 3 km north of usual route, that of “ferries”, as it is clear from official thanks that Mayor of Isola del Giglio sent to another ship commander some time ago.
And as we see, Costa Concordia passed on Secca di Mezzo Canale (Middle Channel Shallow).

Why Costa Concordia was there is not given to know, but it is a fact that large cruise ships are transiting nearby the coast – in the Mediterranean waters as in the Scandinavian fjords – to offer to tourist the “show” of little islands and seaside towns.

Prodigy – World’s On Fire

E’ uscito oggi, con diversi giorni di anticipo sulla data preannunciata, World’s On Fire, il DVD  live dei Prodigy. (link IBS)

Un film che conferma definitivamente The Prodigy nell’olimpo delle pop-rock band di tutti i tempi. Un evento musicale che, si dice, tocca una nuova frontiera della qualità del suono “dal vivo”. A vedere il trailer, sembrerebbe di si.
